Avatar of Garuskan WIP

another WIP, that will probably be deleted when the finished, inked and colored version is up.

King Carrion, or Garuskan is ultimately the deadliest arcana. Though he's sealed in the reflection of a giant mirror, he can project an avatar, to represent his being. Yes, there is a big tear in the center of his body.

an example of this, Persona 3 (PS2)(shin megami tensei) in the final battle, you first fight the Avatar of Nyx, then Nyx itself. The avatar is sort of like the 'representation' of Nyx in a simpler form. It's sort of hard to explain.

Though, I didn't get the avatar/symbolization from Persona.
It just had correlation.

The bandages over the eyes represent Garuskan's blindness, the other bandages, and stitches represent rot, decay ( 'falling apart' ) and the wings, represent the wings of damnation. (AKA, the sub title of the book) The muzzle, is the power of the arcanum silencing his infernal rage to escape the mirror. No one can hear you scream on the other side of a mirror.

The symbol above him is the symbol of the savior, turned upside down, as to curse it, like as in the aspects of Christianity. Garuskan's arcane sign is merely the polar opposites of my characters.

Anywho, I'll be getting some Halloween art sometime this week. Plus, another Halloween Raikou Nezumi. You can never have too many holiday specials!
